Chongqing Normal University's Vice-President Xiao Jiangguo - Genial Host of the Second International China Bridge Contest for High School Students - October 2009. Several hundred contestants from twenty-nine countries including Australia, took part in the Contest.

Australian Team after participating in a Tree Planting Ceremony held at the Undergraduate Campus of Chongqing Normal University on 31 October. Clarissa Belanti from Penleigh & Essendon Grammar in Melbourne won the Prize for the Best Aural Performance at the China Bridge Competition whilst Tom Middleditch from Kingswood College gained the Prize for the Most Improved Performance.
