In April, the University of South Australia formerly launched its annual Business in China Intensive School in Shanghai at a gala opening ceremony and banquet for more than 80 guests and students. The BICIS program was first introduced to China in 2007. It is a residential program designed to provide UniSA Master of Business Administration students with a structured approach to understanding business and management practices in China. The program is delivered in Shanghai and Beijing over two weeks, through a combination of lectures, presentations by Australian and Chinese academics, government officials and senior business executives, networking activities; and company site visits. This year group encompasses 45 MBA students from UniSA’s programs in Adelaide, Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong, as well as the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology. Most participants are senior managers and business executives. This year, UniSA’s International Graduate School of Business is celebrating 30 years of offering its nationally and internationally accredited MBA program.
