Qantas Frequent Flyers will now be able to claim points when flying with China Eastern Airlines following an agreement between the two airlines.

Under the agreement, members of the Qantas Frequent Flyer programme will be able to earn points on all China Eastern Airlines (MU) operated and marketed flights as well as affiliate China Eastern Airlines, including China Eastern Jiangsu Airlines, China Eastern Wuhan Airlines and Qantas codeshare agreement flights.

Flights not covered in the agreement are those operated by a third party but marketed as a China Eastern (MU) flight.

Qantas Frequent Flyers will also be eligible to redeem flights using points for Classic Awards on eligible China Eastern Airlines (MU) flights. These flights can only be booked by telephone sales and not online. An award assistance fee will be charged.
