The code share arrangement will mean passengers travelling between Shanghai and Australia can now transfer through Singapore, allowing better international connections as well as connecting with twice daily Qantas flights to Sydney and Perth and Jetstar-operated flights to Darwin. Qantas also operates daily flights out of Singapore direct to Melbourne and Brisbane, and three times a week to Adelaide.
