Job Title: Factory Manager

Reporting To: General Manager

Job Description:

The factory manager is responsible for all issues pertaining to the factory and production, including:

* Control of the plant maintenance, machinery and inventory, and implement programs to optimize these functions
* Production planning and scheduling in order to best meet order requirements. This includes working closely with the Sales Department on all customer orders in order to achieve timely deliveries
* Controlling inventory of all raw materials, packing material, and finished feeds. This includes working with Purchasing Dept on raw material requirements.
* Controlling the production process to maximize production efficiency while meeting standard operating procedures, feed quality standards and specifications, and respecting the company's quality assurance policy. This includes cooperating closely with the quality assurance and quality control department, as well as the Technical manager and/or nutritionist, for routine operation and special technical or R&D projects.
* Looking for ways to improve production capacity and efficiency and to reduce production costs
* Supervise, control, and delegate job functions for all production, store, and maintenance staff. This includes maintain staff discipline, evaluate staff performance, and organize necessary staff training.
* Timely submission of reports pertaining to maintenance, production, and inventory, as required by the General Manager
* Getting directly involved in all processes and engineering work in the feed factory. This includes plant improvement or expansion projects.
* Following all factory safety regulations accordingly and ensure that staff are trained to abide by these safety requirements.
* Maintenance of factory building and surrounding area
* Ensuring the cleanliness and housekeeping of the factory and its surroundings.
* Ensuring that stocks of raw materials, tailings, and finished product are maintained in accordance with guidelines given by General Manager and/or Technical Manager or nutritionist.
* Any other duties that may be assigned by company from time to time.
