Reporting to: Head of Research & Development

Job Description:

* Managing in-house research on poultry nutrition, including hands-on supervision of trial farms
* Developing improvements to poultry feed that increase animal productivity or lower costs for farmers
* Creating new poultry feed products to meet the requirements of our customers
* Identifying and incorporating cutting edge technologies through partnerships and licensing arrangements
* Building relationships with public-sector research institutions and overseeing sponsorship of academic research
* Helping to educate the sales force on feed performance

Requirements:

* We are looking for a top-notch nutritionist or poultry scientist.
* A PhD is preferred but not required.
* Prior experience should include hands-on management of poultry R&D projects.
* Knowledge of ruminant or aquaculture nutrition would be a plus, as would international experience.
* The candidate must be passionate about animal nutrition, as evidenced through awareness of cutting-edge trends in biotechnology, feed additives, and genetics.
