Reporting to: Regional Manager

Job description:

Depending on level of experience, candidate will progressively take over the following responsibilities:

* Feed formulation
* New product development
* Monitoring of feed performance in the market
* Overlooking quality assurance and quality control functions
* Referencing of new suppliers and raw materials
* Communications (seminars, dialog sessions, farm visits) on product usage, feed quality and feed performance to market audiences
* Overseeing technical support functions
* R&D

The nutritionist is the guarantor of the feed quality and performance in the market place.

Qualifications:

* Minimum: MSc. in Fish nutrition, Animal Nutrition, Aquaculture or Fisheries Science, preferably PhD.
* Work Experience: 5 to 15 years in Aquaculture and feed industries, with operational experience in feed formulation and feed manufacturing.
* Preferably minimum 2 years in shrimp farming or shrimp hatchery.
* Very good knowledge of fish and/or shrimp nutrition.
* Good understanding of raw material quality. Preferred: experience in least-cost formulation
* Strong analytical and communication skills.
* Good computer skills
* Proven ability to function in a corporate environment with reporting requirements.
* Ability to communicate with a range of audiences: farmers, workers, suppliers, and corporate managers
* Languages: Preferred Indian nationality with very good knowledge of English and at least 2 of the following languages: Hindi, Tamil, and/or Telegu
