A leader in sports wear industry is seeking a Quality Engineer for their Shanghai Office to administer quality programs, practices, procedures, and systems; responsible for the testing and inspection of product throughout the manufacturing cycle to ensure the product integrity standards are met.

Job Description:

Understand the key business drivers; uses this knowledge in own work; expand conceptual knowledge in own discipline and broadens skill.
Respond to non-standard requests from internal and /or external customers; investigate with assistance from others as needed.
Make decisions within guidelines and policies that impact own priorities and allocation of time to meet deadlines.
Accountable for contribution to project team or subteam.
Perform work in support of brand plans; links daily work with company mission; participate in initiatives, program or product with low visibility.
Ensure actions protect company image and limits risk.
Provide product quality expertise to category teams to ensure potential defects are identified and prevented at the design stage and provides input based on defective returns analyses, factory/vendor capabilities and performance history.
Review product designs and manufacturing plans to ensure manufacturing processes are capable of meeting specification and tolerance requirement.

Qualifications:

Typically requires a Bachelor Degree and minimum of 2 years directly relevant work experience.
Require knowledge and experience in own discipline; build the knowledge of the company, process and customers.
Solve a range of straightforward problems.
Analyse possible solutions using standard procedures.
Aware of cost and assist in controlling costs related to the work.
